BE RENEWED CONTINUES THIS SUNDAY

During this series we will continue to reflect on Biblical passages that encourage us to trust in the Lord and to honor God by growing in our generosity. We are excited to see what God will do in each of us individually and as a church body collectively as we are open to Be Renewed in our faith! Join us THIS SUNDAY, November 2, where we will consider the words of King David in Psalm 51:7-12 on our way to joyful renewal!

HUNTSVILLE SACRED CHORALE TO PERFORM

Join us for the Inaugural Concert of the Huntsville Sacred Chorale! We are thrilled to host the first-ever performance of the newly formed Huntsville Sacred Chorale right here at Huntsville First United Methodist Church at 7PM THIS THURSDAY, October 30 in the Main Building Sanctuary!

OPEN MAHJONG CONTINUES NOVEMBER 6

Enjoy playing Mahjong? Whether you are an expert or new to the game, you are invited to join us for open play Mahjong with a Message at Huntsville First! We will meet on the First & Third Thursdays of the month in October and November. You may find us in the Small Dining Room on the 2nd floor of the Wesley Center. Hey, Senior Adults, come join us at noon in the Wesley Center Room 216 for our monthly lunch program on Thursday, November 13! Program: Rebecca Turk from the HSV Botanical Garden where she is VP of Learning & Public Engagement. She has a MS degree in Horticulture and shares her love for the outdoors in her teaching. Lunch: costs $12/person for ham, green beans, sweet potato casserole, rolls, homemade German chocolate cake, tea, and water. RSVP: please click below by Tuesday noon, November 11.

Our next evening hang will be Thursday, November 13 for Board Games at Straight to Ale on 2610 Clinton Ave W! Join us at 7PM for fun, food, and beverages, and don't forget to invite a friend or three.

DORM FOOD DRIVE FOR COLLEGE STUDENTS

This fall, we are partnering with other United Methodist churches in our area to host a Dorm Food Drive for our local college campuses! Help us out by donating pre-packaged, shelf stable, single-serving snacks and meal items between now and November 23. Donations may be dropped up in the main building reception area in the bin or to Pastor Rachel's attention.

CENTERING PRAYER CONTINUES

Come and discover a way to be with God through the silence and stillness of prayer. We meet from 11:30-12:00 on Wednesdays in the Gathering Room in the Main Building. Questions? Contact Myra by texting or calling 256-603-9833.
