AUGUST SERMON SERIES
The lectionary has us studying a portion of the gospel of Matthew this month! We will continue THIS Sunday, August 16 as we hear about crumbs and canines and Jesus experiencing great faith from a follower in Matthew 15:(10-20) 21-28.
ADULT MUSIC REHEARSALS

A MOVING EXPERIENCE
Huntsville First family! We have an outstanding opportunity to show the love and care of Jesus to students at UAH, simply by showing up to help them move their belongings into their dorms on Thursday or Friday, August 13 or 14!

AUGUST YOUNG ADULTS & PROFESSIONALS
Our under-40 group will have two superb gatherings this month! First, on Friday, August 14, a BBQ Extravaganza will take place at the McKelvy Boggs home at 6PM. Then, at noon on Sunday, August 23, everyone will head over to Moe's downtown after meeting up at the purple doors of the main building sanctuary!

You can now officially register for the best weekend of the year: DISCOVERY WEEKEND! We are inviting students from across our community to join us for this life-giving weekend of worship, fun, and fellowship! It’s all taking place at the Vision Retreat Center on August 21-23! SAVE THE DATE: CREATING HOLY PAUSES
The United Women in Faith will be sponsoring a wonderful morning of artistic expression for all ladies on Saturday, August 22. Creating Holy Pauses: Art as Prayer is led by Shelley Szoka and invites participants to explore ways of praying using basic art supplies (provided). No experience needed!
Sign in and light refreshments will begin at 9:30AM with the workshop following at 10. Cost is $15/person.
MASTER YOUR BALANCE
Whitnye Casey's current weekly class schedule may be viewed in the calendar below. All of the classes meet in the Student Ministry Room 203 except for the Monday night Tai Chi class, which meets in the Fellowship Hall. All classes are $12 for members and $15 for nonmembers.
