FAITH PROMISE SUNDAY IS HERE - LOVE IN ACTION
We continue to focus our efforts in serving our community as the hands and feet of Jesus, and FAITH PROMISE SUNDAY is an integral part in that. Join us THIS SUNDAY, January 25, as we lean into showing our love through actions and making our new year Faith Promise commitments! Our scripture study will be Exodus 1:15-22.
YOUNG ADULTS & PROFESSIONALS LUNCH
New year, new opportunities to get together for eats and fellowship! If you are under 40, come on out to MELT downtown on THIS SUNDAY, January 25 at noon when we will gather and catch up together! Why not bring a friend or three?
CROCHET, KNIT, OR STITCH | ALL WELCOME
Join us Sunday evenings from 6-7:30PM in Room 319 of the Main Building. This is a come-as-you-can group to share fellowship with others across a wide range of ages & life stages. While learning to crochet is the core focus, we have knitters, cross stitchers, and embroiderers in the group, as well!
New crochet beginners or begin-again-ers are encouraged to join us beginning THIS SUNDAY, January 25.

FAT TUESDAY PANCAKE SUPPER
Although it may feel as though we just came through the sweet season of Advent into Christmas, Lent is not far off. And before we begin the somber journey leading the the cross, let us come together as a church family on the evening before Ash Wednesday, Tuesday, February 17, for a bit of pancake fun!
LENT BEGINS ON ASH WEDNESDAY
Though Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of our Lenten journey, we must remember that all long journeys begin not with the first step or rolling down the road, but with preparation. Even though we go on this journey year after year, grace persistently invites us to experience it anew. Join us on Wednesday, February 18 at noon in the Chapel or at 6PM in the Sanctuary as we surrender our hold on this world and walk in the freedom of our ashes.
FAT TUESDAY PANCAKE SUPPER
We are bringing Mahjong back on the third Thursdays of the month, beginning on Thursday, February 19, from 6-8PM in the student atrium of the Wesley Center. Even if you haven’t played Mahjong for awhile, please come join the fun. We have plenty of people ready to help you enjoy the game! We do ask that you please register each month, so we know how many Mahjong sets to gather.
LEARN & LEAD IN THE UMC
On Saturday, February 28, United Methodists throughout North Alabama will gather at Cullman First UMC for a day of worship, learning, connection, and equipping. Participants will be able to choose three from the following workshop sessions: Reimagining the use of your church building and land, Disaster Response Planning, Local Church Finances,
A Continuing Education Session for Local Pastors, Solidarity with the Sojourners Ministry (Immigration Ministry), Evangelism Ideas, Men's Ministry, Poverty Action Ministry, Children's Ministry, AND MORE!
