AUGUST SERMON SERIES
The lectionary has us studying a portion of the gospel of Matthew this month! We will begin THIS Sunday, August 2 by hearing of the miraculous feeding recorded in Matthew 14:13-21.

PARENTS OF 3-YEAR-OLDS
This is an important year in your child's faith journey! Join us to learn about your three-year-old's next steps at Huntsville First! We will gather on Sunday, August 2 at 10AM in Room #216 (the small dining room) on the second floor of the Wesley Center. As we meet, the kids will have fun in the nursery!

PROMOTION SUNDAY AUGUST 9
Parents, you will not want your child to miss this fun and pivotal day! PROMOTION SUNDAY will be on Sunday, August 9 during the 10AM Sunday School hour! More info to come soon.
ACOYLTE TEAM FORMING
Students who were confirmed this year are invited to join our acolyte team! All students, beginning with those just completing 6th grade through high school, are invited to a pizza party Sunday, August 9 at noon in Room 216 of the Wesley Center. A brief orientation and training will follow.
ADULT MUSIC REHEARSALS
As the new school year begins, so too will rehearsals for all of our adult music ministries! Click on the graphic above for the listing of each group and rehearsal time. Fall kickoff date is Wednesday, August 12!
REGISTRATION OPEN FOR DISCOVERY WEEKEND
You can now officially register for the best weekend of the year: DISCOVERY WEEKEND! We are inviting students from across our community to join us for this life-giving weekend of worship, fun, and fellowship! It’s all taking place at the Vision Retreat Center on August 21-23! SAVE THE DATE: CREATING HOLY PAUSES
The United Women in Faith will be sponsoring a wonderful morning of artistic expression for all ladies on Saturday, August 22. Creating Holy Pauses: Art as Prayer is led by Shelley Szoka and invites participants to explore ways of praying using basic art supplies (provided). No experience needed!
Sign in and light refreshments will begin at 9:30AM with the workshop following at 10. Cost is $15/person.
